We’re really excited to be attending the Thorpe Bay Rotary “Southend Raft Race” Day on the 25th of June. This is an age-old tradition that used to take place at the Thorpe Esplanade, and is now back for the first time in almost two decades! It used to be one of Southend’s most popular events so we’re sure that the comeback will be a great day out for us all.

Loads of local businesses, community groups, schools and more have entered rafts into the race – it is going to be so much fun seeing whether they sink or swim 😆
